GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

       All items are subject to prior sale. Please request your order by e-mail if possible, though regular mail is acceptable if necessary. I will soon have a phone number with voice mail solely for the purpose of receiving orders, but that is still in the works. The availability of items contained by your order will be confirmed within 48 hours, unless we are out of town (check ANNOUNCEMENTS link for that and other useful information).  Books will be held for up to 14 days following receipt of order (until payment is received and check or money order has cleared), but we try to ship items quickly.

       To order an item, please e-mail the inventory number(s), if applicable, and the title and serial issue of the volume (e. g. USGS 18 Annual Report, Part 3).  We suggest customers use the "copy, cut and paste" procedure, and paste their wants directly from the web page to e-mail.  Orders and other inquiries may be e-mailed or sent via regular mail to our addresses below:

PAYMENT:

       Payment must be made in U. S. Dollars only, in the form of

personal or bank check, money orders (drawn only on U. S.

banks), or Paypal. Cash is accepted but is sent entirely at the

risk of the customer.  Overseas customers are encouraged to

use Paypal or Bidpay Money Orders.  When an order is

received, I will send an invoice either directly by e-mail to the

customer or by Paypal if that is the method of payment

selected. Educational institutions and government agencies

will be billed via invoice upon receipt of purchase order.

 

SHIPPING:

       Items are shipped within 10 business days from receipt of payment unless other arrangements are made at the request of the customer, or if the order is exceptionally large (e. g. 30 or more volumes). In the later circumstance, an additional 5-7 days might be required. Shipping and packing charges for UNITED STATES CUSTOMERS are $4.75 for the first octavo-sized book (e. g. most “bulletins”) and $1.00 per additional

book.  Quarto-sized items (e. g. USGS Annual Reports or

Monographs) are shipped at the rate of $6.00 for the first book

and $2.00 per additional book. Shipping fees for large sets of

books will be quoted upon request. All orders between $100-$500 are insured automatically at no additional charge. For

orders under $100 or over $500, insurance is available at cost

per current USPS fee schedule.  INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

are shipped at cost plus $2.00. Unless prior arrangements are

made, shipping for all international orders is based on current

USPS Air Letter or Air Parcel Post rates.

 

RETURNS:

       Any book may be returned for a refund of the purchase price, minus shipping, but must be postmarked within seven (7) business days from date of receipt. All costs for return shipping are the customer’s responsibility. In the event an item is returned because of a significance omission in our description, we will reimburse ALL shipping charges promptly

and extend an appropriate credit to ensure customer

satisfaction.
