good copy of this classic work complete with the

large fold out hand colored map of Minnesota and

adjacent lands at rear, and frontis plate of St. Paul in

1853. Contents are by and large very clean aside from

small marginal stain to a few page edges at

beginning. Sought after for the map, which is usually

removed for framing, the text should not be

overlooked for it provides a unique glimpse at

Minnesota during its Pioneer Days. With 412 pp.,
